Scaduview

Scaduview

Scaduview, a hidden gem in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for Elden Ring, is an enigmatic region tucked behind Shadow Keep. Accessible only through a secret path involving lifts, gestures, and intricate exploration, this area offers rich rewards for determined adventurers. Scaduview is notable for housing two new Remembrances and one of the DLC’s strongest Spirit Ashes, making it a must-visit for players seeking powerful upgrades. Additionally, it serves as the final destination for Count Ymir’s questline, where players can unlock another formidable boss encounter. While challenging to navigate, its unique lore and treasures make Scaduview an essential part of the Shadow of the Erdtree experience.

You will unlock this Site of Grace after defeating Commander Gaius (more on the fight against this boss can be found on the How to defeat Commander Gaius? page). It is located in the western part of the arena.

Scadutree Base – Scaduview

The Scadutree Base – Scaduview in Shadow of the Erdtree serves as a pivotal checkpoint for players exploring the Shadow Realm. This Site of Grace not only offers a sanctuary to rest and replenish resources but also acts as a hub for utilizing Scadutree Fragments. These fragments, scattered throughout the region, are essential for upgrading Shadow Realm Blessings and enhancing your character’s abilities. Located near a key intersection of paths, the Scadutree Base provides easy access to nearby challenges and treasures, making it a strategic point for adventurers seeking to maximize their exploration and survival in this expansive DLC.

This Site of Grace will become available after defeating the boss Scadutree Avatar. It is located in the central part of the arena.

Hinterland – Scaduview

Hinterland – Scaduview

The Hinterland Site of Grace in Scaduview is accessible after unlocking the path from the Shadow Keep, Back Gate Site of Grace. To do so, you must use the “O Mother” gesture in front of a statue near the church district. This gesture reveals a hidden route leading to the Hinterland region. The Site of Grace is located shortly after exiting the church district, serving as a crucial checkpoint for exploring this secluded area of Scaduview.

Start walking towards the headless sculpture, from the Shadow Keep, Back Gate Site of Grace. Use the O Mother gesture to open access to a new region. Hinterland Bridge – Scaduview

The Hinterland Bridge in Scaduview is a key Site of Grace in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for Elden Ring. To reach it, head towards the bridge from the Hinterland region while being cautious of the Tree Sentinels boss duo guarding the area. Players can choose to engage these formidable foes one at a time, tackle them simultaneously, or bypass them entirely by rushing across the bridge. Once across, the Site of Grace provides a much-needed respite in this challenging section of Scaduview.

Head towards the bridge, watching out for the Tree Sentinels boss duo. You can kill them one by one, fight two at a time, or avoid them and rush to the other end of the bridge.

Fingerstone Hill – Scaduview

Fingerstone Hill, located in the Scaduview region of the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for Elden Ring, is a hidden Site of Grace that offers a crucial resting point for players venturing through this challenging area. To reach Fingerstone Hill, players must navigate through the intricate pathways of Scaduview, starting from the Shadow Keep, Back Gate Site of Grace. This location is surrounded by treacherous terrain and enemies, making it a vital spot for recuperation and strategizing before progressing further into the Hinterland region.

Starting from the Hinterland Bridge Site of Grace, go north, up the hill. This is where you will find the Site of Grace, near opponents resembling fingerspiders.

Enir-Ilim: Outer Wall – Enir-Ilim

The Enir-Ilim: Outer Wall Site of Grace marks the initial entry point into the enigmatic Enir-Ilim, a Legacy Dungeon exclusive to the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. After burning the Sealing Tree with Messmer’s Kindling, players are teleported to this location. Upon arrival, the Site of Grace is conveniently located near the teleportation spot. From here, adventurers can follow the eastern path up grand stairs, encountering hostile enemies like the Divine Bird Warrior. This area serves as a gateway to deeper exploration within Enir-Ilim, leading to subsequent Sites of Grace such as First Rise and Spiral Rise.

You will automatically get to this Site of Grace after burning the shadow scadutree after the fight with Romina, Saint of the Bud.

First Rise – Enir-Ilim

The First Rise Site of Grace in Enir-Ilim marks a crucial checkpoint in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for Elden Ring. To reach it, proceed from the Outer Wall Site of Grace, heading up the stairs and navigating past a Divine Bird Warrior encounter. Continue ascending and loop around to the right before taking the short stairs on your left. This Site of Grace serves as a resting point before advancing deeper into Enir-Ilim’s perilous terrain.

The Site of Grace is located in the first tower you encounter, right after you reach Enir-Ilim.

Spiral Rise – Enir-Ilim

Spiral Rise – Enir-Ilim

The Spiral Rise Site of Grace in Enir-Ilim is located within a distinctive spiral tower that houses Miquella’s Cross at its center. To reach this checkpoint, ascend the stairs while evading an enemy positioned on the roof who will attempt to ambush you. This Site of Grace serves as a critical resting point as you progress deeper into the region, offering respite amidst the challenges of Enir-Ilim.

Going further into Enir-Ilim, you will come across another tower, this time a spiral one. In its center you will also find Miquella’s Cross. To get to this checkpoint, you must go up the stairs, avoiding the enemy attacking you from the roof.

Cleansing Chamber Anteroom – Enir-Ilim

The Cleansing Chamber Anteroom in Enir-Ilim serves as a key Site of Grace in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. Located after ascending from Spiral Rise and navigating across rooftops, it marks a pivotal point in the journey through this late-game region. This area not only provides a moment of respite but also houses the final Scadutree Fragment, essential for boosting stats with Shadow Realm Blessings. Players will face a formidable storm-infused Divine Beast Warrior just before reaching this Site of Grace, offering a challenging yet rewarding encounter. You will get there after the fight with Leda and her allies. Go up the stairs, watching out for the enemy in the lion mask. This is where you will find the Site of Grace.

Divine Gate Front Staircase – Enir-Ilim

The Divine Gate Front Staircase Site of Grace is located at the base of the imposing Divine Gate in Enir-Ilim, a new area introduced in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. This Site of Grace serves as a crucial checkpoint before ascending the grand staircase that leads to the Gate of Divinity. Players will find it after navigating through the treacherous outer walls and spiral rises of Enir-Ilim, offering a moment of respite before facing the challenges that lie beyond the divine threshold.

The highest point of Enir-Ilim, this Site of Grace is before entering the final boss arena.

Gate of Divinity – Enir-Ilim

This Site of Grace will become available after defeating the final boss.

Forsaken Graveyard – Abyssal Woods

The Forsaken Graveyard is the initial Site of Grace encountered upon entering the Abyssal Woods. Located at the end of the Darklight Catacombs, this checkpoint serves as the gateway to the eerie forest region. After defeating Jori, Elder Inquisitor, players can use this Site of Grace to prepare for the challenges that lie ahead in the sunless depths of the Abyssal Woods. From here, adventurers must proceed on foot, as Torrent refuses to venture into this foreboding area.

Woodland Trail – Abyssal Woods

The Woodland Trail in the Abyssal Woods serves as a pivotal Site of Grace in Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Located just beyond the Forsaken Graveyard, this eerie trail is marked by unsettling developer messages warning players of an enigmatic and invincible foe lurking nearby. The path from Woodland Trail leads deeper into the forest, revealing hidden treasures such as Somber Smithing Stones and Shadow Realm Runes. Players must navigate dense fog and treacherous terrain, avoiding deadly enemies while progressing toward the stele containing the Abyssal Woods map fragment near the abandoned Church Ruins.

This Site of Grace is located north of the Forsaken Graveyard. From that checkpoint, go forward towards the big trees. This is where the Woodland Trail is located.

Church Ruins – Abyssal Woods

The Church Ruins in the Abyssal Woods is one of the nine Sites of Grace in this dense and mysterious region introduced in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Nestled within the untouched depths of the forest, this location offers players a crucial respite amidst their exploration of the Abyss. To reach it, players must first defeat Jori, Elder Inquisitor, in the Darklight Catacombs, unlocking access to the Forsaken Graveyard Site of Grace. From there, following the dirt path south through the Abyssal Woods will lead to the Church Ruins, located near a map stele that reveals the region’s layout.

Stay on the eastern side of the Abyssal Woods and head south. In the distance you will notice rats and an Abandoned Church. The Site of Grace is inside the building.

Abyssal Woods

The Abyssal Woods is a mysterious and foreboding region in Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, located east of the Gravesite Plain and south of Scadu Altus. Accessible only after defeating Jori, Elder Inquisitor, in the Darklight Catacombs, this dense forest sprawls in a shadowed ravine untouched by sunlight, serving as the sanctum of Sage Midra. The Abyssal Woods is home to nine Sites of Grace, scattered across its eerie paths and fog-filled ravines. Players must navigate treacherous terrain, face deadly enemies, and uncover powerful items like Scadutree Fragments and Ghost Gloveworts while exploring this enigmatic area.

The Abyssal Woods is located in the central part of this region. Watch out for enemies with lanterns – sneak in the bushes.

Divided Falls – Abyssal Woods

Divided Falls is a serene yet treacherous location within the Abyssal Woods, part of the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC in Elden Ring. Head northwest from the Abyssal Woods Site of Grace. To get there, you will have to go through the fog, which is patrolled by enemies with torches.

Manse Hall – Midra’s Manse

The Manse Hall Site of Grace serves as the entry point to Midra’s Manse, a minor Legacy Dungeon in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Located in the Abyssal Woods, southeast of the Dragon’s Pit Terminus, this area is steeped in eerie atmosphere and challenging encounters. Upon entering through the main doors, players can activate the Site of Grace before exploring further. The hall features hidden paths, such as an illusory wall near a painting, leading to secret areas and valuable loot like Nanaya’s Torch. The dungeon is teeming with Shadow Undead and formidable foes like Horned Warriors and Inquisitors, making it a test of skill and strategy for adventurers aiming to uncover its secrets and treasures.

When you reach this place, look for headless, kneeling bodies and a large building behind them. Inside it you will find a Site of Grace.

Midra’s Library – Midra’s Manse

Midra’s Library, located within Midra’s Manse, is a lesser-known area in the vast world of Elden Ring. While it doesn’t feature prominently in the main storyline, it offers a glimpse into the lore and history of the Lands Between. This secluded location is not directly associated with any major Sites of Grace, but it is part of the broader network of hidden and minor regions that players can explore. For those seeking to uncover every secret, Midra’s Library is a fascinating stop, providing insight into the world’s mysterious past. However, detailed information about Sites of Grace within this specific area is limited, as it is not a major hub or quest location.

Once inside the mansion, you must go to the upper floor by walking on narrow wooden beams.

Second Floor Chamber – Midra’s Manse

The Second Floor Chamber Site of Grace in Midra’s Manse is a crucial checkpoint for players exploring this eerie dungeon. Located near the end of the manse, it serves as the final rest point before confronting the formidable boss, Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame. This Site of Grace is situated in a room filled with numerous Inquisitors, providing a moment of respite after navigating through treacherous hidden passages and battling dangerous enemies. From here, players can prepare for the final challenge or backtrack to explore missed areas, including a nearby chandelier that holds a valuable Revered Spirit Ash.

To get to the first floor, you need to find the lever, which is located behind a hidden path. When you spot a largepainting, attackit to discover the next area. By interacting with the lever, you will move one of the structures, which you can jump onto to get higher.

Discussion Chamber – Midra’s Manse

The Discussion Chamber in Midra’s Manse serves as a pivotal location within the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for Elden Ring. This chamber, located on the upper floor of the manse, is unlocked after defeating Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame. Upon victory, players gain access to the Discussion Chamber Site of Grace, offering a key checkpoint for rest and progression. The chamber itself is part of the intricate layout of Midra’s Manse, which features hidden paths and challenging enemies, making it a rewarding yet demanding area to explore.

You will unlock this Site of Grace after defeating the bossMidra, Lord of Frenzied Flame.

Viaduct Minor Tower – Ancient Ruins of Rauh

The Viaduct Minor Tower serves as a key transition point in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, connecting players to the sprawling Ancient Ruins of Rauh. Accessible via the lift on the west ramparts of the Specimen Storehouse, this Site of Grace marks the beginning of a perilous journey. Start your journey from the West Rampart Site of Grace. Cross the narrow, long bridge and then use the elevator. By reaching the very top you will unlock this checkpoint.

Rauh Ancient Ruins, East – Ancient Ruins of Rauh

The Rauh Ancient Ruins, East, are a notable sub-region within the expansive Ancient Ruins of Rauh in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. Located northeast of the Rauh Base, this area can be accessed by traveling through the Shadow Keep or using an Imbued Sword Key to activate a portal west of Highroad Cross. The ruins feature intricate verticality, with flooded and overgrown structures split by a chasm. Key landmarks include the Church of the Bud and various hidden paths, such as illusory walls that conceal treasures like Bondstones and cookbooks. Starting from the Viaduct Minor Tower, you must get to the lower parts of the Rauh ruins. Then, as you explore the underground ruins, use the Spiritspring to get higher. Going to the indicated place, you will come across the Site of Grace and Miquela’s Cross.

Rauh Ancient Ruins, West – Ancient Ruins of Rauh

The Rauh Ancient Ruins, West is a key area in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for Elden Ring. Located west of Scadu Atlus and north of Gravesite Plain, this section of the Ancient Ruins of Rauh is characterized by its overgrown, flooded terrain and the dramatic chasm that splits the ruins. To reach this area, players must navigate through the Shadow Keep legacy dungeon or utilize a portal west of Highroad Cross. The west side features notable landmarks like the Church of the Bud and is home to powerful enemies, including Golem archers and Guardian Golems. Players are advised to secure nearby Sites of Grace, such as Rauh Base, to prepare for the challenges ahead, including poison-filled lakes and hidden dangers1.

The Site of Grace is located in the southern part of the region, south of the lake over which the Furnace Golems can be seen.

Church of the Bud, Main Entrance – Ancient Ruins of Rauh

Ancient Ruins Base – Rauh Base

Located beneath the sprawling, overgrown Ancient Ruins of Rauh, this area is accessible via a hidden cave north of the Moorth Ruins by the lake in Scadu Altus. The path leads through tunnels and poison-filled swamps, culminating in Rauh Base. This base connects players to significant sub-locations like Temple Town Ruins and Scorpion River Catacombs, offering access to critical Sites of Grace and the Rauh Ruins Map Fragment.

The Site of Grace is located immediately after entering the Rauh Base region. It is located in an open area.

Temple Town Ruins – Rauh Base

The Temple Town Ruins, located at Rauh Base beneath the Ancient Rauh Ruins, is a key area in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. To access this site, players must first defeat Rellana and travel northeast from the Moorth Ruins in Scadu Altus. The journey involves traversing a poison swamp (best done on Torrent to avoid damage) and defeating two Golems guarding the path. Once inside the ruins, players can uncover valuable items such as the Revered Spirit Fragment and Scadutree Fragment, as well as Spirit Ashes of the Divine Bird Warrior Ornis hidden in a sanctuary-like structure. Additionally, the Two-Headed Turtle Talisman can be found in a cave under a waterfall at the bottom of the lake nearby, enhancing stamina regeneration for challenging encounters.

The Site of Grace is located in the northern part of the ruins. You can reach it by traveling from the east.

Rivine North – Rauh Foothills

The Ravine North Site of Grace in the Rauh Foothills is accessible only from the Rauh Base region. To reach it, you must navigate through an underground path starting north-east of Moorth Ruins by the lake. This area is characterized by steep cliffs and narrow passages, offering a challenging terrain for exploration. The Ravine North serves as a critical waypoint for adventurers aiming to uncover hidden dungeons and map fragments in the Rauh Ruins region.

Follow the river from the Temple Town Ruins, located to the south, to find this Site of Grace.

Scorpion River Catacombs – Rauh Base

The Scorpion River Catacombs in Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC are located in the lower section of the Rauh Ruins region, accessible without requiring any boss fights. To reach the Rauh Base Site of Grace, start at the Moorth Ruins in Scadu Altus and head northeast through a cave leading to a poison swamp. From Rauh Base, travel west to Temple Town Ruins, then follow the river north and turn west past pests and scorpions. The entrance to the catacombs lies at the end of this path, guarded by Shadow Militiamen near coffins. Inside, players will find valuable loot such as Grave Gloveworts, unique weapons like the Death Knight’s Longhaft Axe, and challenging enemies including ambushing Imps and traps that inflict Death Blight.

Start your journey from the Rivine North Site of Grace. From there, follow the river while avoiding the flying enemies. As you go to the place marked on the map, you will notice the door to the catacombs. Open it and use the elevator.

Taylew’s Ruined Forge – Rauh Base

Taylew’s Ruined Forge – Rauh Base

Taylew’s Ruined Forge is a hidden location in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for Elden Ring, situated in the Rauh Base region. To reach it, start at the Ancient Ruins Base Site of Grace and head north along the road, passing patrols of Messmer soldiers and Misbegotten enemies. Look for a tunnel entrance marked by lit braziers near a stone structure. Inside, you’ll find a Site of Grace and a challenging dungeon filled with rock and magma foes. Notable rewards include the Spirit Summon “Taylew the Golden Smith,” multiple Smithing Stones, and two Ancient Dragon Smithing Stones, making it a valuable stop for adventurers seeking powerful upgrades.

This Site of Grace is located in a cave, inside the forest, near the Shadow Keep.

Cerulean Coast

To find it, begin at the southern shore and head southeast past the area where you collect the Map Fragment. Look for a cliffside path where you’ll spot a Scadutree Fragment nearby. The Site of Grace is positioned near this location, serving as a key checkpoint before delving into the region’s underwater caves, which are filled with challenging enemies like the Putrescent Knight and Ghostflame Dragon.

This Site of Grace is located in the southern part of the Cerulean Coast. Behind the lake, where the dragon boss is, go towards the hill. The Site of Grace will be near Miquella’s Cross.
