The Mimic Tear in Elden Ring is a unique spirit summon that can replicate the player’s character, utilizing their equipped weapons, spells, and armor during combat. This powerful summon is obtained by defeating the Mimic Tear boss located in Nokron, Eternal City. Once acquired, the Mimic Tear Ashes allow players to summon this doppelgänger in battles, consuming 660 HP instead of FP. Its ability to mirror the player’s loadout makes it one of the most versatile and effective Spirit Ash summons in the game, capable of adapting to various combat situations by using the same strategies and items as its summoner.

The Mimic Tear ashes only become available once you defeat Starscourge Radahn. You’ll need a Stonesword Key as well. The ashes are located in Nokron, Eternal City . First, you must defeat the Mimic Tear.

Then head to Night’s Sacred Ground near the Ancestral Woods site of grace. We’ve marked it with a number 6 on the Siofra River’s map.

From there you must jump down to a nearby rooftop and head south-west. Walking along the ledges you’ll eventually reach a place from which you can see the rounded tower roof. Get down onto it and take a running jump forward, to a floor below – just like pictured above.

After defeating the enemies and getting through the square you’ll reach a damaged structure high above the ground. Use it to get to the other side, then jump out of the window to reach the building’s interior.

What makes Legendary Ashen Remains stronger than regular Spirit Ashes

Legendary Ashen Remains in Elden Ring are significantly stronger than regular Spirit Ashes due to several key factors:

  1. Higher Base Stats: Legendary Ashen Remains possess superior stats compared to standard Spirit Ashes, making them more effective in combat situations. This includes higher health and damage output, allowing them to withstand more hits and deal greater damage to enemies.
  2. Upgrade Requirements: These powerful summons require Ghost Gloveworts for upgrades, as opposed to the regular Grave Gloveworts needed for standard Spirit Ashes. This upgrade path enhances their abilities beyond what regular ashes can achieve, providing a more robust performance in battles.
  3. Cost and Resource Management: Summoning Legendary Ashen Remains demands a higher amount of FP (Focus Points), typically over 100 FP per summon. This increased cost reflects their enhanced capabilities and ensures that players must strategically manage their resources during gameplay.
  4. Unique Abilities and Lore: Each Legendary Ashen Remain has distinct abilities tied to rich lore, offering not just brute strength but also unique tactical advantages in combat. For instance, some can deal significant damage from afar or mimic the player’s build, making them versatile allies in various scenarios.

These features collectively make Legendary Ashen Remains invaluable assets for players seeking to conquer the toughest challenges within the Lands Between.

Which Legendary Ashen Remain is the most powerful

The most powerful Legendary Ashen Remain in Elden Ring is widely considered to be Mimic Tear. This unique summon has the ability to replicate the player’s exact build, including their weapons, armor, talismans, spells, and consumables, making it incredibly versatile and adaptable in various combat situations. Although it is slightly weaker than the player, its ability to mimic allows it to utilize the player’s strategies effectively, providing a significant advantage in battles against tough enemies and bosses.
Other notable mentions include Ancient Dragon Knight Kristoff, known for his high damage output and lightning attacks, and Black Knife Tiche, who excels at evasion and reducing enemy health with her attacks. However, the Mimic Tear’s adaptability and potential to match the player’s strength make it the top choice for many players seeking a powerful ally in the game.
