The gang’s survival hinges on reclaiming Shady Belle, but the Lemoyne Raiders have other plans. In Red Dead Redemption 2’s “The Battle of Shady Belle,” Arthur and John must clear out the reoccupied manor in a tense showdown. With time ticking and Dutch’s vision for Saint Denis looming, every shot counts in this pivotal Chapter 3 mission. Will you secure the gang’s new hideout and earn that elusive Gold Medal?

Walkthrough: Get on your horse. Go with John to Shady Belle. There, you will encounter a few Lemoyne Raiders. Kill the enemy outside the manor and then go inside. Go through the rooms and shoot all the enemies.

The ground floor is clear. Go up the stairs – one of the enemies can be shot through a hole in the wall. Arthur comes across an old man. The man commits suicide – go down to John, pick up the body and throw it into the swamp.

You have to repeat the process – go back to the manor, pick up the body on the upper floor, and throw it into the swamp. This starts a cut-scene. Go with Dutch to Saint Denis. The third chapter of Red Dead Redemption 2 is now complete.

How to get a gold medal in The Battle of Shady Belle?

  • Kill all the Lemoyne Raiders in Shady Belle – One of the enemies stands outside the building. Kill him before John does.
