Whether you’re battling legendary bosses or collecting powerful relics, discover the strategies to conquer each challenge and achieve ultimate glory in the Lands Between.

General trophy information in Elden Ring

Elden Ring features a comprehensive trophy and achievement system, offering players a total of 42 trophies on PlayStation, which includes 1 Platinum, 3 Gold, 14 Silver, and 24 Bronze trophies. Achievements are similarly structured on Xbox, contributing to a total of 1,000 gamerscore. Players can unlock these trophies by defeating various bosses, completing specific quests, and acquiring legendary items throughout their journey in the Lands Between. Notably, while it is possible to earn all trophies in a single playthrough, there are four missable achievements that require careful progression management to avoid being locked out of completion.

  1. There are 42 trophies in Elden Ring. These consist of 1 platinum (only available on PS4 and PS5), 3 gold, 14 silver and 24 bronze trophies.
  2. Getting platinum in Elden Ring is quite a time-consuming task. It will take you at least 60 hours to get all the trophies, provided that you use a guide the entire time and exclusively go to the most critical areas.
  3. You’ll also cut down on the time it takes to earn platinum by saving the game before choosing the ending – otherwise you’ll have to replay the game three times. If, on the other hand, you want to play without a guide, get ready for over 100 hours of fun. Elden Ring is a very extensive game which offers a huge amount of content and as you discover it, the gameplay will progressively become easier.
  4. You can’t select a difficulty level in Elden Ring – but there’s plenty of other ways to make the game less challenging. You can choose to play together with a friend, giving you the option to exchange items. Getting platinum requires you to play online – at least sometimes. There is a side quest that requires interacting with other players.
  5. Most of the trophies are earned by defeating important bosses. However, there are some that require you to collect legendary items. There’s only 1 trophy that you can fail to get. In extreme cases, you can cut yourself off from the following ones and be prevented from defeating the bosses. That’s why it’s critical to never kill side characters.

Are there trophies in Shadow of the Erdtree DLC?

The Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for Elden Ring does not introduce any new trophies or achievements. Players can still pursue the existing 42 trophies available in the base game, which include a mix of Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze trophies. 1. Shadow of the Erdtree, released in June 2024, is a large story expansion for Elden Ring.
  2. Unfortunately, the DLC doesn’t have any new achievements. This news should not surprise fans of FromSoftware games, as other DLCs released in the past usually did not offer new trophies either.

Most Challenging Boss Fights in Elden Ring

  1. Malenia, Blade of Miquella: Widely regarded as the toughest boss in Elden Ring, Malenia is known for her incredible speed and ability to heal from damage dealt to her.
