Vinewood Souvenirs — The Last Act Gold Medal — GTA 5

Guides

In the chaotic world of Grand Theft Auto V, the “Vinewood Souvenirs” series culminates in a thrilling finale with The Last Act. This mission, given by the eccentric duo Nigel and Mrs. Thornhill, puts Trevor Philips at the helm of a deadly game of cat and mouse. With the fate of Al Di Napoli hanging in the balance, players must navigate a high-stakes scenario that combines cunning, speed, and a dash of dark humor. Dive into our guide to master the art of achieving gold in this unforgettable mission.

Availability: Trevor

Location: This mission becomes available after the completion of the optional Vinewood Souvenirs- Al Di Napoli mission. You need to wait for the appearance of the new meeting location with Nigel. It is located in the central Los Santos, in the side alley in the Strawberry district (the above screenshot).

One of variants of behavior assumes freeing Di Napoli

Listen to the conversation with Nigel that concerns the elimination of Al Di Napoli. Enter the old man’s car (Declasse Premier) and drive towards the train station located in the eastern portion of the map. On your way, Trevor will start talking to Napoli and, if you want to make a quick buck, you can stop the car and let him out of the trunk. Know however, that this variant will make it unable for you to complete this mission in 100%.

A way better option is to ignore the man and complete your journey to the train station. Position the car exactly on the tracks (the above screenshot) and wait for a train to arrive (you can switch the camera to the cinematic mode). Note – if you want to complete this mission in 100%, you should jump out of the car, and away from the tracks, at the last possible moment. I recommend that you first master this variant, especially that if Trevor dies, you will only have to repeat the last dozen or so seconds of the mission. After you murder Di Napoli, contact Nigel.

Rewards for the completion of the mission:

  • Cash (if you let Di Napoli out of the trunk)

Requirements for the completion of the mission in 100%:

  • Skin of Your Teeth – You need to jump out of the car right before it gets hit by the train.
  • Locomotivation – You need to have your part in murdering Al Di Napoli as a result of a collision of the car with the train.

What makes Vinewood Souvenirs – The Last Act stand out from other missions in GTA 5

“Vinewood Souvenirs – The Last Act” stands out from other missions in GTA 5 due to its darkly comedic tone and the moral dilemma it presents. Unlike many missions that focus on action or heists, this one tasks Trevor Philips with deciding the fate of Al Di Napoli, a kidnapped celebrity. Players can either release him for a cash reward or execute him in a dramatic fashion by leaving his car on train tracks, culminating in a cinematic and grimly humorous scene. The mission’s optional nature and unique Gold Medal objectives, such as escaping the car at the last second before the train hits, add to its distinctiveness within the game’s narrative and gameplay6.

What unique choices does Trevor have in Vinewood Souvenirs – The Last Act

In “Vinewood Souvenirs – The Last Act,” Trevor Philips faces two unique choices regarding the fate of Al Di Napoli, the kidnapped celebrity:

  1. Release Al Di Napoli: Trevor can pull over and set him free, allowing Al to escape unharmed. In return, Al offers Trevor $3,000 as a bribe to ensure his safety.

  2. Kill Al Di Napoli: Trevor can drive to a railroad crossing, leave the car (with Al still in the trunk) on the tracks, and let an oncoming train destroy the vehicle. This option results in Al’s death in a dramatic and darkly humorous manner.

These choices highlight Trevor’s unpredictable nature and allow players to decide between mercy or chaos, adding depth to this Strangers & Freaks mission23.
