Availability: Michael
Location: You need to talk to Mary Ann staying at the large Vinewood sign (the above screenshot). It is best to start this mission only after you have developed Trevor’s stamina although, this is not required.
During the race, avoid collisions with Mary Ann’s bike
After you watch the hilarious cutscene, during which Trevor declares his love, hop onto the mountain bike and join the race. While reaching successive checkpoints, try not to collide with Mary Ann’s bike and do not worry if she is ahead of you at the beginning of the race, which should dwindle as the race progresses. The mission will be complete after you are the first one to reach the finishing line.
Rewards for the completion of the mission:
- New contact on Trevor’s contacts list: Mary Ann
Requirements for the completion of the mission in 100%:
- Good Cyclist – You cannot collide with Mary Ann’s bike.
- Quick Win – You need to win the bike race within 1 minute and 42 seconds. Try to pedal as often as possible but, do not exaggerate in order not to deplete Trevor’s entire stamina bar.
What makes Trevor’s missions unique compared to Michael’s
Trevor’s missions in Grand Theft Auto V are distinct from Michael’s due to their chaotic, impulsive nature and the protagonist’s unhinged personality. While Michael’s missions often revolve around calculated heists and his struggle to balance family life with crime, Trevor’s tasks are driven by raw emotion, vengeance, and unpredictable violence. His missions frequently involve confrontations with rival gangs like The Lost MC, absurd scenarios such as humiliating Lazlow Jones, and reckless destruction fueled by his psychopathic tendencies.
Trevor’s gameplay also stands out through his special ability, which allows him to take reduced damage and deal extra damage during combat—perfectly complementing his aggressive approach to missions. Additionally, his loyalty contrasts sharply with Michael’s betrayal-driven narrative; Trevor remains fiercely devoted to those he considers family despite his chaotic behavior. These elements make Trevor’s missions a wild ride compared to Michael’s more structured storyline.
How does Trevor’s personality affect the player’s experience
Trevor Philips’ personality profoundly affects the player’s experience in Grand Theft Auto V by offering a chaotic, unpredictable, and deeply emotional lens through which to explore the game world. His volatile nature, marked by impulsive violence and dark humor, ensures that his missions are often wild, shocking, and memorable. This unpredictability keeps players on edge, as they never know whether Trevor will act with surprising compassion or terrifying brutality.
Trevor’s honesty and lack of pretense also make him uniquely engaging. Unlike other protagonists who justify their actions with moral ambiguity, Trevor fully embraces his flaws, creating a raw and unapologetic character. His intense loyalty to those he cares about adds depth, allowing players to see glimpses of humanity beneath his psychopathic exterior. These traits make Trevor a polarizing yet captivating character who immerses players in the chaotic essence of the GTA universe.
