【GTA 5 100%】 Random characters Omega: Far Out

Guides

In the vast expanse of Grand Theft Auto V, a mysterious figure named Omega beckons players into a world of conspiracy and intrigue. The “Far Out” mission, triggered by a chance encounter in Sandy Shores, sets Franklin Clinton on a quest to uncover the remnants of an alien spaceship scattered across Los Santos. With 50 hidden parts to find, this journey delves into the game’s quirky side, promising a unique reward for those brave enough to venture into the unknown.

Availability: Franklin

Location: While playing as Franklin, you need to reach the trailer in the South-East of Sandy Shores, i.e. the one where Trevor has his trailer. After you get there, (the above screenshot) talk to the man called Omega to learn about his ideas about liens. You may now take to searching for the spacecraft parts. There is 50 of them, in total.

An example spacecraft part – there is 50 of them, in total

I recommend that you use the “GTA V – maps and collectibles” to locate the parts. An important piece of information is that also Michael and Trevor can engage themselves in searching for the collectibles of this group. All of the items you find will be included into one pool. Personally, I recommend that you use Trevor because many of the parts are located in inaccessible areas and the best way to get there is on the chopper.

The unique buggy

After you have collected all 50 parts, while playing as Franklin, wait for a text message from Omega and get to a small trailer park located in the Eastern part of the map, to the North of the hills with wind farms. Approach Omega to talk to him again, and to give hi what you have found. The game does not award you anything for that, per se, but you will be allowed to take a buggy car from the garage (Space Docker), which has been modified by Omega.

What makes the “Far Out” mission unique compared to other GTA 5 side quests

The “Far Out” mission in Grand Theft Auto V stands out from other side quests for several reasons:

  1. Unique Storyline: It involves a conspiracy theory about alien abductions, which is a quirky and humorous departure from the game’s usual crime-focused narrative. Franklin meets Omega, who claims to have been abducted by aliens, setting the stage for a bizarre adventure.

  2. Extensive Collection Quest: The mission requires collecting 50 spaceship parts scattered across San Andreas. This extensive collection quest is time-consuming and encourages exploration of the game’s vast map, making it distinct from shorter, more straightforward side quests.

  3. Reward: Completing the collection leads to the “Final Frontier” mission, where Franklin receives the Space Docker, a unique and humorous vehicle that adds to the game’s whimsical side.

  4. Integration with Other Missions: The “Far Out” mission is part of the Strangers and Freaks series, which includes other eccentric characters and quests, but its focus on a sci-fi theme sets it apart from the more grounded or satirical missions.

What other missions involve collecting items across the map

In Grand Theft Auto V, several missions and collectibles involve collecting items across the map. Here are a few examples:

  1. Letter Scraps: This collectible set involves finding 50 scraps of paper to complete a letter related to the Mystery of Leonora Johnson. Once all scraps are collected, you can confront the murderer.

  2. Stunt Jumps: While not a traditional collectible, completing all 50 stunt jumps across the map earns achievements and trophies.

  3. Monkey Mosaics: After completing the “Complications” mission with Franklin, you’ll receive a text about Monkey Mosaics. You need to photograph all 50 of these designs scattered around Los Santos.

  4. Peyote Plants: There are 27 Peyote Plants hidden across the map. Consuming these plants triggers a hallucinatory trip where you control an animal.

  5. Hidden Packages: Twelve packages are hidden underwater, each containing cash and sometimes weapons or other items.

Outside of GTA V, other games with extensive collection quests include:

  • Pokémon and Yo-Kai Watch: Collecting monsters and moves.

  • Animal Crossing: Collecting furniture, clothes, bugs, fish, etc.

  • Monster Hunter: Collecting and crafting armor and weapons.

In Red Dead Redemption 2 Online, while not specifically about collecting items across the map, missions involve delivering items or intercepting goods, which requires traversing the map.
